Accountfully believes people are greater than numbers, and we are on a mission to prove it. We enjoy featuring our eclectic employees with a spotlight that shows the world a bit more about them behind the outsourced accounting scenes.
Katy Saunders is our internal cheerleader, planner of all things fun, and gatekeeper to our talent. This Virginia raised, University of Kansas-educated HR powerhouse may not be an accountant by trade, but has plenty of experience working alongside us. She first exercised her accounting-focused talent acquisition skills working for Robert Half in 2018. Get to know more about Katy and all she enjoys outside of the office.
Katy is our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, but she manages all things Human Resources related including, but not limited to; recruiting, employee engagement, and onboarding new employees.

“I love the hybrid work model. I'm so excited to be back in an office setting and getting to interact with coworkers in person again. I also love hosting our new hire classes here in Charleston!”
Friends in Low Places of course, especially the secret third verse. I'm a diehard Garth fan.
I've had two in my lifetime. Growing up with four older brothers, I was quite the Tomboy, so when I was around five, I told everyone my boy name was Rusty (see photo for reference). My brothers have continued calling me this to this day. Fast forward almost 20 years and I developed an alter ego personality that appears after a few too many cocktails. This side of me is lovingly referred to as Pearl, my birthstone.
A Bald Eagle, because they're brave, independent, fierce and they can fly!
I'm a small town girl that loves to drink wine, play golf and binge-watch Friends reruns. I have a great big family that I love more than anything: four brothers with nine nieces and nephews. I am a University of Kansas alum and a diehard Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan, Rock Chalk!
