Whether it’s creative agencies, industrial partners, event organizers or hip spotlight-stealing startups, we work with so many talented people and interesting businesses. We’re always inspired by our clients and love knowing that by solving some of their issues, we’re able to give them the time and resources to really focus on growing their company.
Luckily we’re able to share our diverse clients in our recurring Client Highlight series, which gives everyone a sneak peek into the successes and challenges of business owners of all shapes and sizes.
This week we’re highlighting Lunch + Recess, a creative agency based in Charleston, South Carolina. The team behind Lunch and Recess works on visual content that ranges from TV spots and webmercials to brand films and webisodes. They’ve worked with organizations like Trident United Way and shoemaker Johnston & Murphy while also putting together film festival submissions on taxidermy and bike advocacy.
We’ve worked with Lunch and Recess since 2013 and our initial work was on doing tax planning, but we were also able to implement more timely reporting. This allowed the team to make better decisions from a business standpoint as well as minimize tax liabilities. We also helped them with project costing in order to maintain an accurate record of expected profits and expenditures. Moving forward, this information will keep their clients’ projects priced more precisely.
No matter the type of client, we make sure that we all work together as a team. We brainstorm and troubleshoot, and even have a little fun too. We celebrate their wins, problem-solve their losses, and do everything in our power to prove that accounting doesn’t have to be a drag.
