Employee Spotlight:  Tash Leath

Accountfully believes people are greater than numbers, and we are on a mission to prove it.  We enjoy featuring our eclectic employees with a spotlight that shows the world a bit more about them behind the outsourced accounting scenes.  

Tash Leath is a self-proclaimed spreadsheet lover that brings lots of eclectic talents to the table outside of her accounting prowess.  Not only can she make you a mean drink with her mixology skills, but she can pair it with a Teddy Bear.  Tash grew up in rural Ohio between Cincinnati and Columbus and it was a job as a banker that solidified her love of finance.  She appreciated the challenge and problem-solving it brought to the table.  Tash has since earned a Master’s degree and majored in Business and Accounting at the University of Phoenix. Fast forward to the here and now, she is living out her wildest number-wrangling dreams as a remote Senior Accountant at Accountfully.

Number-loving aside, there is more to Tash than her love of all things accounting.  Let’s learn more about our Cincinnati, Ohio teammate.

Bear Builder at Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Favorite way to unwind after a busy day:  

Gardening, watching Anime, cooking new recipes or canning whatever fruit is in season.

Work-related accomplishment Tash is most proud of: 

‍Graduating with my Master's degree while working full-time.

Favorite part of working at Accountfully: 

"Honestly, it is so wonderful, I have trouble choosing just one thing. I absolutely love the people that I work with every day.  The caring drive that everyone has to help our clients achieve their financial goals is so refreshing. I love being able to work remotely and have the flexibility to achieve a great work/life balance."

Listening to my weekly comedy podcasts or joking around with my fiance.

Previous Nicknames:  

Tash (Short for Latashia) My nickname became what I primarily go by now.

Where Tash is headed in a time machine:  

The 1980s.  I love the culture and the vibe. I frequently listen to 80s music and watch old sitcoms from that era already. 

What animal Tash would be:    

An Otter.  They are so adorable and feisty.

What Tash wants the world to know about her: 

I am happy and always eager to learn.
