Last month Brad was featured on The Tech Life podcast with Rich Conte. It was a great experience that made Brad and I reflect on Accountfully’s evolution over the last few years.
As Brad mentioned on the show, we moved down here without many connections or an office space. But we were committed and dedicated to our business and we never looked back. Over the course of our first year in Charleston we were regularly reminded that we chose a community that supports and encourages local business owners to work together. Today we can’t walk downtown for coffee without bumping into someone we know—a far cry from those first few months in the Holy City.
Thanks to organizations like Lowcountry Local First, we were able to quickly acclimate to Charleston’s thriving business community. Since we relocated here, we’ve built a roster of incredible local clients who we are proud to call our neighbors and our friends. They are in part responsible for our big 2016 news: We’re moving!
Last month we closed on a new downtown office space. While we love our current space, we’ve outgrown it and are ready to have a little more space to stretch our legs and entertain. We look forward to working with local architects, builders and craftsmen to renovate and refurbish the space over the next few months. We’ll keep you posted on the project as we go.
Brad’s appearance on Rich’s podcast was a reminder of all the things we’ve accomplished over the last few years and all the things we’ve set out to do in 2016. If you’re just starting out or if you’re looking to take your business to the next level this year, let us know! We love helping local Charleston business owners be successful.
